| Having been a Christian for many years I can honestly say I was unhappy with my prayer life until I read this book. There have been several books that I have read on prayer and all of them were good. However, I found this to be the best since it was both practical and nourshing at the same time. Clearly, Dr. Thrasher has lived what he wrote about. It is exhibited in a deep understanding of prayer that is both personal and biblical at the same time. Besides being an excellent read I have used it time and time again as a reference book to turn to when I need to learn again how to turn a particular situation into an opportunity for genuine prayer.
