| I heard Mr. Tuma on a talk radio program and his interview convinced me to buy this book. I read it from cover to cover in one day. Mr. Tuma's research into our current economic situation is convincing. He speaks of a "demographic winter" brought about by the aging of the Baby Boomer generation. And since most recoveries do not take place without consumer spending (70% of the US GDP), we find ourselves in a world of hurt in the short run (more mortgage calamity ahead) and will not see a real economic renaissance until Boomer's children are of the age to experience peak spending which will occur no sooner than 2020. Well thought out and easy to read without tons of technical economic-speak, Mr. Tuma sets a course for us to navigate these tenuous waters of the next decade.
