Reviews - What do our customers think?
 | Not entirely engaging.... Nov 2, 2009 |
Our mens group finished this study a few weeks ago and I wasn't entirely impressed with the content of the book. The topics were very basic the exercises were downright silly. At one time he asks you to take a picture of yourself and then stare at the picture for like 20 or 30 sec to see how you project yourself. Another involved dumping out your wallet onto the table to imagine having to go without your possessions. Needless to say, we didn't do any of those. The illustrations were not very strong in my opinion. Others might see them as beneficial, so I'll let you decide on that.
We also did the companion DVD and each and every week, his input was about a minute long. It was more like a pep talk than a study companion. If you decide to do the study, skip the DVD. I wouldn't say it was an entire waste as the topics were important and valuable ones, but it only seemed to scratch the surface. | | | Write your own review about Uncommon-Mens Bible Study
