| I can't believe I got this book in a Christian Bookstore, it should only be sold in a secular bookstore or online under the "New Age" category. First of all this book is very repetitive. A big focus seems to be how special, good, and obedient Choo is. Her body shakes and then come the visions, but her experiences reek of the occult (the body molding is creepy and disturbing) some of it sounds like astral projection with a bit of eastern mysticsm thrown in. I just got an uneasy feeling reading this book and it contradicts the Bible in so many ways. Some people commented on that Satan wouldn't promote the gospel, so how could this book be anything but God-when Jesus went into the wilderness before he began his ministry, Satan twisted the scriptures and Jesus corrected him on what scripture actually said! Satan wants people to learn a false gospel so they won't learn the truth and be saved. Choo wants you to believe the only way to assure your salvation is by works and tithing. Jesus tells her she has to perform a special dance perfectly for it to be acceptable. Perfectionism and obedience seemed to be stressed. It's interesting because if you look at the people God chose they were so imperfect (unlike Choo) Abraham lied and said his wife was his sister, Moses told God he stuttered and didnt speak well and didnt want to lead the people, David sinned with Bathsheba. In the New Testament Peter denied Christ, Thomas doubted, Paul persecuted true believers, yet dispite their faults they were all loved by and used by God. Yes we do have to repent when we sin, but believers in Christ are washed clean by the righteousness of Jesus. How different from Choo's Jesus who expects people to be perfectly obedient and oh make sure you tithe. Salvation is not by works but by faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, it is by grace alone that we are saved. Get in a good bible study and learn the truth about heaven and everything else! There are a few books of this genre that align with scripture and are not fccused on the author but on God and his nature and they are uplifting to read, this book is not! For all those that loved the book and for her Choo herself, I recommend that you read Joanna Michelson's book, "The Beautiful Side Of Evil", its the story of a woman whose quest for God led her into the occult and a false God, and how she finally learned the truth through the Bible and experienced the real Jesus. | | | | Heaven is so Real Oct 12, 2008 |
| This is not your typical Heaven or Hell book. Having said that, I found this book a very real, very personal testimony of someone who has seen and heard and believes that people must know about these places. She is most espcially concerned that everyone knows that Hell is real; she does not want anyone to go there. Her love for Jesus is touching. | I absolutely enjoyed this book. I could not put it down. I enjoyed it so much that I shared the book with others. I actually bought a copy to give away to someone in the church I was attending after telling them about it. They could not find the book so I took liberty to buy it for them because I knew they would enjoy the book just as much as I did. I even gave my copy away to someone in the church. So, right now I have no copy of my own anymore, but I plan to buy another copy soon. Also, I plan to purchase several more to give away. "Heaven is So Real" revealed the intimacy and passion of the Lord. This is by far my favorite read. "Heaven is So Real" will leave desiring a deeper relationship with the Lord. I remember the day that I was in the book store deciding on a book to purchase. I was so indecisive. I asked Holy Spirit to help me select a book. I continued to look around until I came across "Heaven is so Real". It appeared interesting so, I read the back to get an idea of what the book was about. When I took the book home and read it, I was so taken by this book. It was especially for me. I can relate to Choo's experience in dancing before the Lord. I have my own supernatural experience concerning dancing before Him. This book was chosen for me. | As the author reply me in her email, this book will be viewed by two types of people 1. those who care so much of going into heaven. 2. those who love the world more. By looking at the stars given to this book's review, it obviously does that, they all go two extremes, there is no or very little in between, either 5 stars (represending those who want to go to heaven) and 1 star (represending those who love the world more). I don't want to be the judge.
