Product Description Daniel, son of Melchior and Esther of Ecbatana, lives in rebellion and a drunken stupor, a great embarrassment that his older brother is only too happy to point out to their father. Feeling that he can never meet with approval, Daniel asks for his inheritance and strikes out on his own. He innocently puts his trust in a man who promises him great wealth. But nothing is as it seems, and Daniel soon finds his life in danger. Only when he has lost everything does he begin to truly understand his father's love.

 | Excellent as always Oct 29, 2009 |
| Thoenes's books are always well researched, excellent fiction. I prefer no bad language, no blatant sexual content and they qualify. | | | | Thoene LOVER!!!! Sep 13, 2009 |
| I have read all of the books ever written by Brock and Bodie Thoene, and I can only say that I have never been disappointed in one of them. My heart is so moved to comprehend a time and a place and a people in a way that I might never have done. I have gained insight about the potentials of Biblical life for the individuals I have always seen as just story characters...they have now come alive to me. I so appreciate the hearts of these two writers and their vision to open up Israel and God's people and Jesus's stories and the New Testament times and the times of WWII...it's has all been fantastic. Thank you!! | | | | TENTH BOOK IS A DISAPOINTMENT Sep 12, 2009 |
| I finished reading this book last night and just stared into space and thought "Did I miss something?" Did I miss a whole chapter somewhere? Or do I write my own story where this book left off? I am going to read it again just to see if I still feel the same. I have all ten of the AD Chronicles and have read nine of them at least twice and thoroughly enjoyed them. But this book seems to be shorter and it seems the authors hurried though it. It was not up to par compared to the others. It also seems there is more and more of the "study" sections as the books are released and less and less of the actual story. I hope this is not a trend that will be continued. It would be better to spend more time writing a good book than to hurry through several mediocre books. | | | | Please get on with it ... Aug 28, 2009 |
I started this series back when it was the Zion Legacy Series, which was never finished. As far as I know Moshe & Alfie are still trapped under the city of Jerusalem and Rachel is being carried off by Jihadist! I enjoyed Marcus the Centurion and was really looking forward to some resolution of his story. Several years, over 10 books later we still haven't gotten to any sort of resolution to any of the original story lines. It seems all the books going back to the Birth of Christ needed to just be in a series of their own rather than a several volumes detour!
A rating of 3 has nothing to do with the quality of the writing, and I have really enjoyed the series but it really is starting to feel like a bit of shameless marketing just to see how long they can stretch this series out. | | | | Very Pleased Aug 23, 2009 |
| I was very pleased with my purchase and the speed with which it was delivered. Will order again. | | | Write your own review about Tenth Stone (Ad Chronicles Series)
