Reviews - What do our customers think?
 | Too many coincidences Nov 4, 2009 |
| This book could have been named It's a Small World After All.Everyone knew each other Norris, the male lead was having a torrid affair with Dahlia. A woman from his past tells him she hijacked his sperm and he has a 16 year old daughter. The daughter is good friends with Dahlia. The premise was interesting or at least it seem so when I began reading this book but it took me six weeks to it. I read Ms Williams first book Choices which I really enjoyed. It was a sweet romance. I think she tried to crank up the heat with this one. Not really successful with that aspect. The romance between Norris and Dahlia was solid. But the storyline about his daughter could have been dropped altoghether. | | | | Excellent! Great Story Oct 12, 2009 |
| This is an excellent, well-written story. The characters are well-developed and very interesting and the plot line is good. If you read "Choices" you'll recognize some of the characters such as Ryan and Lara. It was great to find out what became of them once they got married. If you didn't read "Choices" you'll still be able to perfectly follow this story. It was funny to read the story of a playboy who had finally met his match. I know many single women wished they could meet a man this determined in his pursuit of the woman he loves. The addition of a daughter he didn't know about for 16 years was another challenge for him but the book flowed beautifully as Norris and Dahlia as well as Norris and his daughter developed their relationships. I wish all romance stories were this well-written and rounded. No formulaic writing here. I look forward to Ms. Williams next novel. She does not disappoint. | | | | Can Falling in Love Leave You Blindsided? Oct 12, 2009 |
Dahlia Sinclair, a successful salon owner, and Norris Converse, a sexy businessman, have been enjoying an affair they agreed was supposed to be a no-strings attached, carefree physical relationship. However, Norris has fallen in love with Dahlia, but Dalia does not agree a relationship based on sex can result in one based on love. Dahlia is also suffering from fear of the unknown, thanks to her twelve-year marriage to a cheating ex-husband.
Norris Converse discovers something other than the fact that he's ready to settle down with Dahlia. He learns he is the father of a teenage daughter. The mother of his child has now decided Norris and his daughter should get to know each other. Norris is not only shocked, but unprepared for fatherhood. Playing catch-up parenting to a sixteen-year-old daughter, who is not the least bit thrilled with his prior absence in her life, and trying to convince a headstrong Dahlia that she is the only woman for him, is proving to be harder than he thought. Are his daughter and the love of his life worth fighting for?
I didn't know the novel, BLINDSIDED, was a sequel to Williams' debut novel, Choices, until I read her bio in the back of the book. However, BLINDSIDED read like a stand-alone novel. This was a great story about the internal and external conflicts men and women in interracial relationships deal with. The reader will see the female character overcome her insecurities about a commitment to men. Readers will also see how the male character fights for the love of his life, while accepting his responsibility as a father. Williams does a good job tying up all the loose ends in the story, which will leave readers satisfied.

| | | | OH WHAT A WONDERFUL LOVE STORY!!!!! Oct 8, 2009 |
| I really really enjoyed this book, a well written heartfelt romance. I gave it five stars because it had all the ingredients of a good novel and I was totally drawn to the characters in this book. Dahlia & Norris issues felt so real and with Norris dealing with his teenage daughter, I felt for him. I won't say anymore because I don't want to give to much away, but this is a MUST read. If you are looking for hot sex, this is not for you. This story is about family, trust, forgiveness and unconditional love. Ms. Williams did a fantastic job in delivering this story, something that will touch your heart. There were scenes in this book that actually had me in tears. I highly recommend this book, its a keeper and I will read again. | | | | naff hero name Sep 13, 2009 |
| I agree with all the review comments, this was a good book, well written etc. However, I just couldn't conjure a romantic image of the hero without thinking what a naff name Norris is, it simple is not a name that does justice to the character macho image. | | | Write your own review about Blindsided (Indigo Love Spectrum)
