This is one of the best investments I made in a book. I own this book for at least 6 years, and still use it for the good notes I took and the good discussion. This book is great for personal or group Bible study. The studies are informative, not deep theological details but not simplistic; just the right piece of steak! It dose not replace studying the characters from the Bible but organizes the study and gives many helpful insights and draws parallels of Christ when appropriate; such as with studying lesson 9 "Joseph".

| This is an excellent way to learn about the great characters of the bible, as well as learn the Old Testament as well. The book will take yoou on a tour though the Old testament. I am currently using this book to go through with a small group from church. This group has found this book to be very informative and gives quality lessons to learn from each character.
