Product Description
Steve Harvey, the host of the nationally syndicated Steve Harvey Morning Show, can't count the number of impressive women he's met over the years, whether it's through the "Strawberry Letters" segment of his program or while on tour for his comedy shows. These are women who can run a small business, keep a household with three kids in tiptop shape, and chair a church group all at the same time. Yet when it comes to relationships, they can't figure out what makes men tick. Why? According to Steve it's because they're asking other women for advice when no one but another man can tell them how to find and keep a man. In Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, Steve lets women inside the mindset of a man and sheds lights on concepts and questions such as: ---The Ninety Day Rule: Ford requires it of its employees. Should you require it of your man? ---How to spot a mama's boy and what if anything you can do about it. ---When to introduce the kids. And what to read into the first interaction between your date and your kids. ---The five questions every woman should ask a man to determine how serious he is. --- And more...
Sometimes funny, sometimes direct, but always truthful, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man is a book you must read if you want to understand how men think when it comes to relationships.

Reviews - What do our customers think?
 | A Male's Perspective Feb 9, 2010 |
I read a good majority of this book and I feel that it's worth the read. While there are subjects and situations in here which are common sense, it stills gives insight from a male's perspective that many women are unaware of.

| I gave this book as a gift after reading it myself. It's an excellent book, my friend though so too.Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man: What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy, and Commitment | | | | Worst book I have read Feb 5, 2010 |
I threw this book in the garbage after I finished it so that I would not be responsible for anyone else reading it. It was some time ago that my mother gave it to me as a gift and so I can't remember specific details of the terrible things I read. I do remember, however, that Harvey stereotyped men by saying that they could have their way they would never bathe and sit around and watch sports all day. There were numerous statements such as this one. I'm sure that there are many men that would fit the description Harvey gave, but I know for sure I would never be anywhere close to dating them in the first place. The assumption that ALL men are like that is what kills me.
He goes on to advise women to abstain from sex when you are dating a guy, so that he will value you more and be more likely to marry you. But, has it occurred to him that women also enjoy sex and we don't do it just to please or to keep a man.
I really respect Oprah's opinion and I know many other women do as well, but it saddens me to that she would endorse this book. | | | | Men don't change much Feb 3, 2010 |
| The information in this book is helpful and useful in that I have become entirely distrustful of any male attention. I consider myself a keeper. If he doesn't, he can hike. This is really male chauvinist pig stuff. | | | | Loved It Feb 2, 2010 |
| I loved the book when my friend let me read her copy that I had to buy my own...Thanks Steve!!! I'd recommend this book... | | | Write your own review about Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man: What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy, and Commitment
