This book has completely changed my prayer life! It is a powerful tool that will help you to understand why we need to pray, what our motivation for prayer should be and how prayer works. It is in depth and very informative because Dutch Sheets translates the meaning of the Greek and Hebrew words and shows how it applies to the text. It's easy to read and apply.
This book is also very funny with stories of his life experiences with prayer and intercession, and it is very touching with some stories bringing tears to my eyes because of the way God moved through Dutch Sheets and then seeing that God could use me that way to touch people for Him if I'd just take a little time and let Him. And that it isn't difficult like I had always thought that intercession would be.
Dutch Sheets' teaching makes it so much easier to go to prayer for others, making it easy to understand and giving practical applications on how to use prayer effectively and how to see results more quickly by praying for others correctly, as the Word teaches.
This is a powerful, anointed book that I would recommend to every new (and not so new) ;) Christian who wants to understand prayer and intercession; who want to get out of the rut of prayer that doesn't seem to change anything, and for Christians who want to grow and develop in their prayer life.

| This book has been very helpful for my prayer life. I always intercedded before but didn't understand intercession nearly as well as I do now that I've read this book. Mr. Sheets uses what the Bible says about intercession in such a clarifying and powerful way. Since 've read the book I use it daily as a tool in my prayer for others. He also uses many real-life examples of the results of this intercession even in extremely difficult cases. They've uplifted me and have been "chicken soup for my soul." Since I've read the book I have alot more peace about situations that I've prayed about for a long time and have struggled with.
