| This book really was the answer to my prayers during a time when my lost loved ones could not afford for me to give up on them or even be discouraged! Coming from a long line of alcoholics on BOTH sides of my family, I know how it feels to get discouraged when there are so many people to pray for. | I have three books by Dutch Sheets, and I love this one particularly as I still have a couple backslidden loved ones in my family--my wife who left but still desires to have some level of closeness to God, and my sister who has backslidden into complete unbelief though she is a very good sister. This book offers excellent advice, and now what I need to do is dwell in that a little more. Dutch Sheets feels that the promises of God are so clear that we should be surprised or shocked not if our loved ones come to Christ but if they don't.
