Item Description... Catchy melodies, drill and student involvement make multiplication tables to twelve very memorable. Multplication Unplugged was a Teacher's Choice Award nominee. This album was put together with a great deal of thought. Each of the 12 melodies is different, very musical and very catchy. Besides drilling the multiplication facts, these songs also teach skip counting. The chorus of every single song is actually skip counting. So, not only do students learn all of their timetables, they can count by 6's, 7's, even 12's with no problem This kit is perfect for earlier grades as a primer and for later grades as a resource and review. This is a collection of 12 teaching songs, plus a complement of 12self quizzing tracks. The lyrics/activity book (which may be reproduced by the teacher for classroom use) includes over a dozen activity sheets. |

Reviews - What do our customers think?
 | Effective for auditory learners Sep 19, 2008 |
| My daughter learns by hearing, so this worked like a charm for her. At first, I was skeptical. The songs always review the tables in numerical order, and I thought she would rely on skip-counting to figure out the next answer. After we listen, I review them with her in random order, and she can recall almost all of them instantly. It worked for us. | | | | Fun Multiplication Jun 29, 2008 |
| What a fun and easy way to study multiplication!!! My 9, 6, and 4 year old love to listen to this in the car. Nice tunes and you can understand all of the words. | | | | It's True What They Say Jun 28, 2008 |
| I read the reviews for this CD and was hopeful that they were true...and they were! The songs are all different from eachother (unlike another multiplication CD I bought) and very cute. The skip-counting is a real bonus. If you have an auditory learner and/or a music lover, this is a good choice. | | | | OK for an additional study on the Times Tables May 13, 2008 |
Every book helps some but it is hard to listen long enough to grasp it all. My daughter listened a few times but soon plugged her ears. What can I say. L. McNew | | | | Effective Feb 22, 2008 |
| The music part of this packet is excellent. I've read criticisms about the music, but let's be realistic: it's multiplication tables. It needs to be musically simple and catchy. It's not technically "folksy," but is very similar to the style of music on most CDs for small children. The lyrics in the accompanying book are helpful, but not so much the worksheets. There is one page per number, which assumes that a child is going to master the multiplication tables on the first go-round. I've been printing out supplemental pages each day and doing each number daily for a week. It's catching on where the dry drills weren't. | | | Write your own review about Multiplication Unplugged (CD/book kit)
