Relient K was my absolute favorite band untill this CD came out. I owned everyone of thier EPs and CDs (with the exception of thier very first album which came out in 1998) This album seemed to have very little to say about God and they changed thier style of music. Relient K no longer sounds like the power punk band they once were. Now they just sound like radio rock. I strongly recomend thier older albums, but this one was a big dissapointment.
Inspiring Mar 18, 2007
Relient K is an amazing band that uses their music to reach-out and inspire people all over the country. Their unmistakable sound and lyrics have that ability to make you laugh and cry. No matter what type of music you like, you can always make any acception for Relient K.
God bless you.
Awesome Feb 23, 2007
This is one of the best CDs I have ever bought I listen to it all the time! I strongly recomend getting it
Another great album Feb 10, 2007
Although I like the "fun" songs that Relient K has always included in their albums, it was great to see a lot of meaningful songs this time around. Although some songs might confuse non-christians listeners who don't know that most songs are about God and not some girl. Though they manage to do a great job of bridging the gap between the secular and Christian music worlds. This album shows some growth in their music, I can't wait to hear their next album.
MMHMM Jan 28, 2007
How unfortunate it is, that for those who gave this album a score of 1 star live in ignorance. Perhaps if more emphasis was put on the meaning behind the music rather than your own opinion, you may think differently. This album is a continuation in the evolution of Relient K. I know that for some it is hard to understand rhetorical devices like personification, puns, similes, metaphors and what not, but lets face it, these guys rock. Aside from the fact that songs can go both ways, and Matt Theissen has a way with words, the album as a whole has a mix of different genres of music, whether it be that punk, or that slow relaxed music, or that crazy metal type, you have it all in this album. All in all.....Relient K Rocks.....
