 | A really helpful little book Mar 8, 2007 |
| This is a great book. I use it during the ESOL classes as questions to get people sharing verbally and then writing their responses. We don't use it every season rather as a way to break up the sameness of text book teaching. | | | | great for family interaction Jan 11, 2007 |
| In an age where plain old table conversation is harder to come by than ever, this book comes through with flying colors. The questions are just the right temperature for family consumption. We had a great time using this book during the Holidays and it really helped us to bond as a family. | | | | not just for socially inept Jan 6, 2007 |
this book is great! and it's not just for people who don't know how to start a conversation. the range of questions in this book is fantastic! it covers quirky topics that you may not think to ask the people that are closest to you (but you'll find that the answers are interesting to know). and it goes all the way to in-depth questions that probe more serious, deep matters. i gave it to my best friend to her birthday, and she takes it everywhere! she'll get it out at a restaurant and start asking questions to the server or anyone nearby. it's great for long car rides or just any old time. it can also be a great way to ask questions to people that you wouldn't normally feel comfortable talking to in such a way--parents, for example.
i think this book is great for anyone! it's even fun to read on your own and think about your own answers to these questions. it makes a great gift...people love picking up this book and flipping through its pages to find a great question to ask the group.
it's not just a way to get to know strangers...you can even learn things about people you've known for years! | | | | Top notch "ice breaker" and conversation starter Jan 3, 2007 |
So the title may be all you need to know about what I think of this handy book. It is one of those "Why didn't I think of that?" ideas, and I recommend it to all. Doesn't seem to get old.
The book was suggested to us as something good for a couple to use to get/keep them communicating. It also works great with family and friends. It is appropriate to let them know that lighter subjects are lower numbers, and higher numbers more controversial. | | | | Great book to stimulate conversation with your family Nov 10, 2006 |
| I was having a hard time starting meaningful conversation with my teen-age kids. It can be difficult to think of interesting topics on the spot, and left up to them, the conversation will gravitate towards meaningless goofy talk. This book gives some great questions to spark some good dialog -- use it at the dinner table, restaurants, or just when you are hanging out! | | | Write your own review about Complete Book Of Questions
