From the perspective of a 47-year-old male, not expecting any more children anytime soon: Previous reviewers are right--this is not a "children's lullaby" CD. Yes, it serves very well for that purpose, but really this is the best Twila Paris recording, in my opinion, since the mega-classic "Sanctuary." Heartfelt lyrics and vocals, great melodies. Kids love it, too, but you will find yourself listening even when they're asleep. "I pray that you will follow Him your whole life long."

This is a favorite CD to give to expectant parents. Twyla Paris provides a very worshipful experience to the music, and her voice is lovely. I recommend this to all people who would like to blend their faith with their families.

I bought this CD for my son when he was a baby.... it is the ONLY CD he will let me play for him at night... I know, I've tried other CDs and this is the one he always wants... it is very soothing and gentle. We've been playing it for him for 4 years now and it still works like a charm, and it is a CD that will never "wear on you." it is a beautiful, loving CD. I highly recommend it, and purchase it for all of my friends who are expecting little ones :)

I originally bought this for my new born son to listen to when he goes to sleep, but I have found myself listening to this. It is definitely soothing music for quiet times in the evening to wind down from long and busy days.
