| My father, who is a big fan of Biblical History, Liturgy, and Bible Study looked it over and stated that he thought it would be a very interesting experience to use and a different idea for study, but that he was not sure if it was his type of study Bible, yet is curious to check it out. The Mosaic Holy Bible makes a lovely addition to any Bible student's collection. The variety offered in each week's study is a rich highlight.
"Epiphany, Week 6," for example, is focused on Seeking and Saving. Under that umbrella we have numerous scripture readings, accompanied by a Chinese painting depicting The Parable of the Lost Son; a short message about joyful evangelism; another (by Dan Kimball) cautioning us against isolationism; an excellent application devotional by Jay Blevins; a short teaching by Greek theologian Athanasius of Alexandria; an applicable quote by Richard Baxter of 17th Century England; a prayer by Sir Francis Drake; and a place for the student to write in "Reflection."
This is the perfect Bible for the student who struggles to stay with studies that become rote. Mosaic brings the reader something new every day.

Bibles are very personal possessions, and while I am extremely picky about the one I use, I appreciate that we have such an array of Bibles from which to choose. Holy Bible: Mosaic is a fascinating combination of readings, artwork, and devotionals. Those who especially enjoy art and depictions of Biblical events from various cultural perspectives will find much to like in this book. It's not my particular taste, but that is a point of personal preference. Additionally, while the Bible itself (as found in the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments) is universally applicable, it is very difficult to write devotional material that all denominations will agree on. The danger is that in trying to appeal to all, it may appeal to none. Because I am not from a liturgical church background, some of it just didn't resonate with me. But don't just take my opinion, take a look for yourself.

| One picture is worth thousands of words. I felt the intent of the artist to convey his love for Jesus came through each painting very profoundly.
