If or if not you are a Christian, read this book! It is about a young girl, Sophie, who dreams up her own little worlds, & she has NO friends. Her parents get mad because she gets a lot of C's & D's on her Report Card! They won't let her dream during class & on and on. Then, she makes a friend that likes to dream to! They help each other out The whole year! They stay clear of Corn Pops & Fruit Loops! They make their own club, the Corn Flakes!

| Miles away from Lily Robbins in character is Sophie LaCroix, Nancy Rue's latest preteen heroine, a daydreamer whose daydreaming gets in the way of her schoolwork. Sophie's parents have relocated from Dallas, Texas to a much smaller town in Virginia, where Sophie has a hard time making friends and ends up inventing Antoinette, a character of whom becomes like an imaginary friend with more confidence and parents who understand her. Before long, we learn that Sophie feels like she's in her older, perfect sister Lacie's shadow, and Sophie is sent to see a psychologist to get to the bottom of her daydreaming "problem" after she gets lost on a trip to colonial Williamsburg. Sophie learns how to channel her daydreaming into plays that she records on a camcorder. But it is all the relationships in her life that Sophie must learn to work out, from her father to her sister and her friends Fiona, Maggie, and Kitty, as well as her relationship with Jesus. Sophie is a far cry from Lily Robbins, but a preteen who enjoyed the Lily series is sure to enjoy these books as well. This is the first book in the series and was released with "Sophie's Secret" book 2, and "No Boys Allowed" a devotional book aimed at preteens.
