 | a true blessing Mar 8, 2007 |
| It was a answer to so many prayers. It also encourages you and helps you to pray. | | | | A MUST read for every Bible Believing Christian Mar 6, 2007 |
| I was given this book several years ago when I was having trouble conceiving a child. I read this wonderful faith-based book and the promises really spoke to my spirit as pure truth from God. I applied the promises to my life and believed God to keep His promises to me. It's been almost 9 years since I first read the book and since then, I have had 3 beautiful children. My first was born was truely an answer to prayer as far as actually conceiving a child. I had no pain for the first few hours of labor but when I started listening to the "worldly advice" of my extended family, I began to doubt my faith and the promises. While the labor was not totally a pain free experience, God saved my daughter and now she's alive and well and as smart as a whip. By the time my last two pregnancies came around a few years later, my faith had grown stronger and the promises of God penatrated my spirit and soul. I am thrilled to say that both my second and my third pregnancies were delivered within a 3-5 hour labor window and were totally 100% pain-free!! Praise God for His promises and for Ms. Jackie Mize for sharing her testimony with us all. God Bless. | | | | Pure Garbage. Feb 19, 2007 |
This book was given to me during a pregnancy that ended up being very rough. No amount of faith prayers could save my baby, she died. Perhaps God was too busy making sure someone was getting a baby with red hair and green eyes or soemthing? So I have come to conclude that either God has a very odd list of priorities or J. Mize is a self-centered wacko. I vote for self-centered wacko. By the time J. Mize is pregnant with baby number 4, apparently she prayed into existance the child's gender, hair color and even ordered it up with curls. Apparently, Jackie is uninformed in how conception and genetics occur, because by the time she was ordering up a girl, that sperm egg connection had long since occured. So either she hit the 50/50 odds or God took the time to change the gender of her baby. Honestly, I think most sane and rational people realize that a healthy, alive baby is the best blessing regardless of gender or hair color.
I'm glad I escaped the mindless faith movement. I was happy to set Mrs. Mize's book on fire in the fire place. People like her perpetuate a santa-clause Jesus. I truly find the author an appauling spoiled brat, whose book caused me needless mental and spiritual pain. I hope anyone reading this will refuse to put one penny of money in this spiritual [...]. | | | | This is worth reading Jan 20, 2007 |
| Sometimes in all of our preparation for childbirth we forget that the most important thing to bring into the delivery room is our faith. Through prayers and testimonies the reader is reminded of who is really in charge in the delivery room. This book did more to ease my fear than most of the others I've read. I especially loved the daily meditations and prayers found at the back of the book. Definitely a "must read" for every Christian. | | | | Great faith building book! Jan 4, 2007 |
| This book reminds you of God's promises concerning reproduction. It is based on the personal story of Jackie Mize (the author) but one that re-assures any bible believing christian that having children is part of God's plan whether male or female. It certainly helped build my faith and Jackie has also included specific prayers and biblical passages to help guide you depending on what stage you are of planning for a family. A must read for anyone believing God for their baby miracle! | | | Write your own review about Supernatural Childbirth
