 | Great book for teenagers Jan 10, 2007 |
| Bought this a Christmas gift for teenage granddaughter. I feel good about giving a book by this author. | | | | Captivating and Biblically sound Jan 6, 2007 |
| Each devotion is packed full of truth. The method in which the truth is presented keeps our sons interested. Also, the truth is shared in such a way that practical application is quite obvious. I highly recommend this devotional to assist your children in growing in their personal relationship with Christ. | | | | GOOD DEVOTIONAL FOR YOUNG KIDS Mar 3, 2006 |
| I like the devotional; however, it seems to be more geared toward younger children (7-11). My daughters are a little older and some of the devotional stories were a bit "kiddish" and it didn't touch home with them. | | | | Good for use as a family devotional if you have older kids Oct 21, 2005 |
| I bought this book for my 15 year old son to study on his own, while at the same time buying Josh McDowells Family Devotional 2 (which was almost as disappointing as Family Devotional 1 was excellent) for our family devotional. FD2 was a huge disappointment, so we started using this book for family devotions, and have found it to be an excellent book for that purpose. The readings are easy to understand and apply and the questions are simple yet thought provoking. If you are looking for a book that can do double duty as a teen devotional and a family devotional, I recommend this book. | | | | Thought-provoking and well-done! May 18, 2001 |
| I am a huge fan of Josh McDowell and purchased 20 copies of this book for teens in our youth group. Many have come back to me to tell me over & over again how much they enjoyed this book. That it was the first devotional book they followed through on, and really got something out of. I only took one star off b/c sometimes the book had a tendency to be on the "cheesy" side, with the stories. But other than that, this is a GREAT devotional for junior/senior high youth. | | | Write your own review about One Year Book Of Youth Devotions
