| Every year I choose a new bible to read thru the year. In 2007, I choose this one. What a refreshing experience I have, a few sentance from Max, OT + Psalm and Proverbs + NT, just the right mix. And the translation, New Century version is a version that easy to understand even English is my second language. | This is a good daily devotional Bible. The readings are broken up into readings for each day of the year from the Old Testament (including daily readings from the Psalms, Proverbs) and New Testament. Grace, as God's free gift, is the main theme elucidated throughout with insights from the writings of Max Lucado.
