| I love the Banning talks about Jesus and the new breed of revivalist. A must read for young and oldJesus Culture: Living a Life That Transforms the World | | | | Anyone interested in revival should read this book! Nov 24, 2009 |
I loved this book.
Banning is a young guy with a heart for Jesus and for the people of this world. He has been blessed with some great wisdom, courage and some great mentors in Bill Johnson, Lou Engle and the like.
I was especially taken by Banning's views, backed up by Biblical examples, on the significance of generational relationships and how important a role the old and young play together to bring about supernatural change.
There are so many good insights in this easy to read book and I would encourage all, young and old, who are passionate about revival to read it!
Well done Banning. | | | | Lifestyle-changing read! Nov 9, 2009 |
While I could probably write a novel in my review of this book, I will not. All I can say is that Banning reinforces what I've been learning over the last two years of my life about embracing a supernatural lifestyle, a lifestyle that appears supernatural to the world that we live in. It's not about reinventing culture, it's not about creating our own culture as believers, it's about TRANSFORMING the culture around us. It's about meeting people where they're at and bringing them an encounter with the living God.
It starts with us and impacts the generations after us. I really liked his chapter on honoring those older than us, on those who have gone before us. Just buy the book. | | | | culture Oct 7, 2009 |
| Good book about how God has raised up His church for worldwide revival. God wants us to take cities and nations. God wants to use the young and the old. He is going to pour out His Spirit on all flesh. | | | | Jesus Culture Sep 25, 2009 |
| The author, Banning Liebscher teaches and encourages believers to have a love relationship with God. The author explains that "signs and wonders" all come to demonstrate the love God has for people. He says that God wants to invite us into a love relationship. He also writes that personal revival and breakthrough for revival begin through prayer. If you desire and are seeking to bring more of God's kingdom to earth this book will encourage you. | | | Write your own review about Jesus Culture
