Reviews - What do our customers think?

| Book was delivered a little late, but I would buy from this seller again | | | | More recycled corporate speak Mar 8, 2007 |
| a friend at church recommended this book, said I had to read it...I thought it was pretty much garbage...lots of generic corporate babble shoehorned between a "pick and choose" approach to Jesus ministry. | | | | Some value among the cliches Feb 17, 2007 |
| I was fairly underwhelmed by this book; it seems to use Jesus as a "unifying thematic element", but to take a fairly free hand in "massaging" the story of His life to fit the author's idea of leadership. Overall, although the book does have some value in inspiring introspection, reading The Daily Drucker (and anything else of Drucker's) in combination with the Bible will give you a much better picture of leadership and of how Jesus led, and will likely be more inspirational to effective action than will this book. | | | | Some good Points but not much ground-breaking information Apr 11, 2006 |
This book was fairly well written with some interesting and helpful points. The idea of using Jesus as the main subject of assessment in this book is a good choice in my view. However, I finished the book without being able to say that anything I read REALLY struck a chord or at least made me say "this is great stuff!" The information within the book made sense but it was a bit trite in certain instances. I would recommend it to a College student but I don't think it would have much use to an experienced Business man.
| | | | Superb Devotional Booklet for Christian Leaders! Mar 11, 2006 |
I didn't expect this title to be a devotional work. Instead, I was ready to find an instructional volume filled with leadership principles from the life of Jesus. While at first disappointed, I continued to read and to find hope and motivation as a Christian leader.
This book is much more devotional than instructional. While some of the insights have profound meaning, the focus is on application. Jones here clearly has a unique, much needed volume on Christian leadership. For its price, this book is well worth the investment. | | | Write your own review about Jesus, CEO: Using Ancient Wisdom for Visionary Leadership
