Item Description...
Product Description WHAT DO YOUR RELATIONSHIPS SAY ABOUT HOW YOU RELATE TO GOD? Life is all about relationships. And how we relate to others reveals a lot about how we relate to God. But relationships are fragile, and it doesn't take much to set them off course. Ironically, it's when our relationships are on edge that we are best suited to grow-personally, spiritually, and relationally. In Understanding Who You Are, Dr. Larry Crabb reveals five key truths about people, helping us examine the way we respond to relational problems and discover the underlying issues that set our relationships off track. Understanding Who You Are will give you the tools you need to heal broken relationships and develop a more intimate relationship with God.

Reviews - What do our customers think?
 | Wasn't as good as I'd hoped. Jul 3, 2007 |
| I suppose I shouldn't be complaining about 7 bucks, but I didn't think this book was all that the other reviews made it out to be. As others note, it was very short and in my opinion not very interesting or insightful. I hope his other books are better - I just got "Understanding People" so I'm hoping the reviews aren't a let-down for that one either. | | | | Great Book Mar 25, 2007 |
| Dr. Crabb does a great job in this book of setting a background for understanding who we are by what is going on inside us. He describes an informative structure for discussion and thought about why we do some of the things that we do. Excellent. | | | | title not helpful Mar 8, 2007 |
| The title of this book makes you expect too much about the actual book. Very little is included about this topic and the writing is not for the layperson. I was hoping for more of a simple understanding. Too many controversies in the text without clear solutions. | | | | Short but Sweet Mar 1, 2007 |
| As always, Larry Crabb's insight into relationships, the human psyche, and the link between the emotional and spiritual shines through in this short but sweet book. Mostly meant to whet your appetite for deeper study, this book provokes deeper contemplation of both one's relationships with humans and the Divine. A good read if you are traveling and don't want to lug around a larger book, or if you simply want a taste of what Larry Crabb is all about. | | | | Why hasn't anyone recommended this book to me before? Mar 24, 2000 |
| I've only finished the first chapter, so perhaps this review is premature, but I've been deeply struck so far. My only question is, why hasn't anyone recommended this book to me before? Or, why haven't I come across this perspective anywhere else? It represents an approach to solving one's problems that is fundamentally orthogonal to everything else out there, in both the church, and the world. So far, I would recommend it. | | | Write your own review about Understanding Who You Are: What Your Relationships Tell You About Yourself
