Item Description... Never was a book more needed to unravel the controversies surrounding the conflicts in the Middle East. From Iraq to Armageddon is an in-depth analysis of end-time prophecy concerning this dangerous region of the world. What is the spirit and mystery of Babylon? How does Jerusalem fit into Middle East prophecy? Does the Bible give a deeper reason for the Iraqi War? Can the Jews and Arabs be reconciled? These and many other intriguing questions on prophecy and the Middle East are answered by Messianic Jewish scholar Keith Intrater. |

 | Amused Mar 14, 2007 |
I am always amused by reactions to end-time teaching. It's a volatile subject, especially if you believe that Christians will suffer. End-time theology is something I've tried to stay away from because there are so many "opinions" and though most disagree with each other, they all have convincing arguments.
The LaHaye series has done much damage to lull the Christian community into their usual "nothing bad can happen to me" view. This book makes more sense than any I have ever read on the subject. If you believe in the rapture before tribulation, reread your Bible. God never takes us out. He brings us through. What I liked about this author is that (for me) he demystified Revelation by tying each scripture to an Old Testament scripture. | | | | A book on prophecy to appreciate Jul 30, 2005 |
| I'd have to say this is one of the better books that are out there right now that deal with the End Times prophecies. While Tim LaHaye has some great books, such as his commentary on the Book of Jesus' Revelation, what I like about this book is that it deals with the prospects of the End Times through the eyes of Jewish believers in Christ Jesus who is the Lord and Savior, the way, the only way, to the Father. Such a concept as Messianic Jewish p.o.v. is missing in a lot of commentaries and explorations on Bible that you can pick up in the stores. The author explores the ideas of how what is going on in the Middle East, right now, shows the road that is being paved toward Christ Jesus' return. Any true Christian who desires to understand the last days should pick this book up and appreciate what Messianic Jews have to say about the End Times. Intrater examines the horrors of wars (seen and unseen) going on in the Middle East, circling around Israel, he also examines how the spirit of Babylon and the AntiChrist are coming to the front, along with the coming of the 144,000 Jewish believers who will spread the word after the Rapture occurs. Even if you end up disagreeing with a point or two by the author, you wont be sorry because it helps to understand how a Jewish believer feels toward what is going on in history as of right now and how it leads toward a designated future, designated by the Lord God through His revelations to us in Scripture. | | | | well, we can see by your comment you are a kid Sep 1, 2004 |
| but try to do more than just stay in your home, reading your bible... world is really more difficult to understand than you fundamentalists think... | | | | You are all wrong Aug 27, 2004 |
| Any of you who think this is an attempt to make money or show off religious subjects need to open your eyes. Only those who don't know the first thing about the bible or GOD or JESUS would say some of the things I have read here today. I can't stand it when you people get up here and bad mouth someone for wanting to share the truth or their own personal experiences with others. All these writers are closer to the truth than you think they are. I suggest you go home and read your BIBLE and then tell me this is all a way to make easy money. | | | | Yet another attempt..... | ...to paint Gulf War II as the beginning to Armageddon, just as self-style prophets did during Gulf War I. This is nothing more than a shameless attempt to cash in on a dark political time for America by attempting to paint it as a religious crisis. Funny, that's what Al-Qaeda does too. | | | Write your own review about From Iraq to Armageddon
