If you've ever had what some people call a "mountain top" experience like Christ Renews or Cursillo, then you will relate to many of these stories. Once your eyes are open to God's work in nature, the world is a whole new place.
Although I'm not a hunter (and don't aspire to be,) I do hike and camp, and was delighted to learn that other people see the world as I have in some of my favorite nature moments. I am also grateful to read about a healthy vocation, though he doesn't pretend it's easy.
While I was reading this book, I stopped many times to discuss something I had read...it also inspired many pages of journaling.
