 | Another good book, especially for busy moms! Feb 8, 2008 |
| My CrockPot has become a life saver! Thanks to this book, I went out and purchased several different sizes so that I can have dinner AND dessert cooking! I know that some people do not like Joanna's use of "cream of" soup mixes and the like; but if your alternative is eating fast food then you are ahead of the game using this book. It is full of healthy, family-pleasing recipes that go together in a snap! "Food Purists" who have the time and inclination to chop and mash and dash and mix everything from scratch probably won't want this book. Since I am a busy person with more things to do in a day than spend an hour cooking dinner, this book is perfect for me. If you need it to go together fast, easily, inexpensively, and to be above-all something you know is healthier than mainstream cooking and fast food, this will do ya fine. | | | | healthy eats Aug 25, 2007 |
| Hi, it's good to eat healthy and read about such. As I approach 50, I realize the need to watch what I eat. I gave up smoking again so eating better is the next logical step in a healthier lifestyle. This is not spiral bound, or at least the copy I got isn't. I received the paperback version and was disappointed so I am taking a star off for that. At the time I ordered it, it was supposed to be the plastic comb edition which would have been better to read in bed. God bless you, Dwayne | | | | A Potful of Recipes Review Apr 1, 2007 |
This book was given to me by a friend of JoAnna Lund. I have used most of the recipes and I purchased a copy for a friend who loves to cook like I do. Slow Cooker recipes are hard to find and Mrs. Lund has made it easy to follow her directions and eat healthy at the same time. This is a book for all cooks! | | | | Great recipes for the crockpot Mar 19, 2006 |
My sister had this book and loves it so I had to get it. It has great low-cal recipes for the crockpot. | | | | A Potful of Recipes cookbook Mar 4, 2006 |
