Strong's Exhaustive Concordance to the Bible by James Strong. In my opinion this is the ultimate concordance but the only problem is that it is exhaustive which means all the definite artilces 'the' are listed which when your looking up a verse using a key word then you won't begin with 'the' as its not that key! Well i got my copy when a student at Bible College as i needed it, but now computors and their search concordance have made massive volumes like this not so handy as they once were - in paper form that is! Nonetheless Strong's Exhaustive Concordance is still the ultimate Bible concordance and an excellent resource for finding that verse which you have partial memomory of (or know) and you're not sure where it is! I use a Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament, Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia, several lexicons, and have studied the Biblical languages very intently and intensively for many years. I even have 3 Strong's Concordances on my computer. Yet, to this day, there is still really nothing like sitting down to a personal study or preparing for a message with my old leather Bible, the language texts, and a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. Stong's is still a standard for study. And though my ALS sometimes keeps me from opening the pages as quickly, I still love the feel of the big book in my hands and on top of my desk when I'm cross-referencing the Scriptures and finding the fullest understanding to the use of words in the various texts. The serious Bible student's library without a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance is dreadfully lacking.
