Precious story  Jan 19, 2007
I read this story to the children in the Montessorie school and after ward they all said thank you and got in line to hug me they enjoyed it so well. Hope fully it will all cause us to think.

Great lesson about life differing from dreams  Jan 18, 2007
This was a book at my doctors office. I was so impressed that I went home and ordered it. The lessons are a little advanced for my 2.5 year-old, but the story is nice all the same. The story is about three trees that all have aspirations. "Life" doesn't turn out at all as these trees had aspired, but all go on to be very significant, even if at first it seemeded the opposite was to be true. It has very spiritual ties to the Christian faith, but is an interesting lesson to all to have faith that things will turn out as they should.

the tale of three trees  Oct 23, 2006
The tale of three trees was a book I received my ninth Christmas. At first I thought the book looked stupid but when I actually sat down and read it I found it to be a very impactful book. The one place, in the book, that impacted me the most was towards the middle of the story when the third tree said "I want to grow so tall when people stop to look at me they will raise their eyes to heaven and think of God", this third tree was the tree I connected with the most. What this tree said made me think and impacted my life for the better.

The Tale of Three Trees: A Traditional Folktale  Jul 6, 2006
I am a Catholic School teacher and have read this to my class at different times of the year. I find it a fantastic tale and the children are always amazed by the end of the story. I have purchased it for our Pastor when he was transfered to another parish and he said it brought tears to his eyes. It's a great tale of how you don't have to be embedded with jewles, pointing to the sky or a grand ship taking fanastic voyages to be a good person. God loves us just the way we are weather it be in a mink coat or rags.

Great Book  Mar 1, 2006
I highly recommend this book. It's great for all ages to understand that life doesn't always work out as planned, God's plan is better.
