| I was skeptical of this book, but a friend recommended it to me, so I read it. I was very surprised at all that it taught me. While at times some of the stories used to illustrate the theory get a bit tedious, I could clearly see that the philosophy behind it was right on target. Why you sometimes just don't get each other, how you think you're giving your spouse what they need but you're really not, and how you hurt each other without meaning too.
