Every song on this album is not only written by Brooke but amazing too. You can hear her heart through the lyrics and feel the relevance in your own life. When I listen to this album I feel like I'm in another world. It's the kind of album where you can listen to every song and not skip around and you can listen to it any time.. not just when you're in the mood for it. Excellent album!
Music for a happy or cloudy day Dec 10, 2009
This is a very well put together album with meaningful lyrics and a beautiful voice to go with it. Everyone needs this album in their collection.
I'm so glad that I've found you. Dec 9, 2009
This is one of the best albums I've bought in twenty years. Brooke's music is pure and simply beautiful. The more I listen to her, the more I fall in love with this lady. My favorite tracks are Shadowfeet, Albertine, Love Is Waiting and Hosea's wife. Thanks god for sending this girl to this world.
Albertine... Aug 12, 2009
...is a really good Christian album whose songs can stand apart from Meredith Andrews, and Kari Jobe. A really good experience.
The BEST CD I have bought in in while! Aug 11, 2009
I first heard & saw the video for the song "Shadowfeet" on the Gospel Music Channel. I was mesmeried by the lyrics and content. I song IDed it and found a treasure of other songs. Brooke Fraser is a great songwriter and although not all her songs are outright singing about Jesus, you can tell where her inspiration comes from. I loved her with Hillsong and I also love her in her solo albums. Besides "Shadowfeet," I am in love with "Hymn," "Deciphering Me," and "Albertine." All of them have meaning to uplift God and spread the loving message of Him!
