| When I received "Reading & Speaking About Russian Newspapers (Focus Texts Series), I quickly looked it over from front to back. It can help some people who want to read small articles or ads. However, it does not adress more advanced topics and articles in a way that is useable as other than a "quick" activity book for a little while. The newspaper texts and ads are severely outdated and I sort of felt like I was scrutinizing the lowest literature that the former Soviet Union would let out in the old days, like during Stalin! This text needs some serious updating.
