Album Description Flatfoot 56 has been playing brazen Celtic punk rock in the Chicago area since 2000. Now the band of three brothers (and a friend) are ready to whip the masses into a frenzy with their debut release Knuckles Up from Flicker Records. Guitars, drums, bagpipes and a mandolin fuel the band's up front energy that reaches out and grabs even the sleepiest of cynics. With Flatfoot 56, standing in the back is not an option.

This is a band that has a mix style of celtic christian punk oi! Whats not too like. While most mainstreem christian punk groups are actually Punk Pop, this band brings a more disirable sound. A must own for anyone fond of Christian music, the true Punk style, or celtic rock. This is a band with a great sense of humor and a good intention. ENJOY!!!! OI! OI! OI!OI!OI!OI!OI!
Bagpipes! Mandolins! Guitars! Oh my! Jul 7, 2006
Knuckles Up is an awesome celtic influenced punk CD that most punk fans can enjoy. It's the band's third release and their strongest yet. If you're a Christian looking for a band to replace Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murphys... just listen to what you like! But if you're a fan of good punk music with a strong celtic influence and lyrics that emphasize on brotherhood and faith, than this CD is probably for you! Even if you aren't much of a fan of punk music, I would still recommend this CD, with songs about pirates, and even one about accidentally marrying someone of the same gender, it's just plain fun! You really can't go wrong with Knuckles Up, a fine release from a fine band! 5 Stars and best of luck for Flatfoot!
Also, if you ever get a chance to see them live absolutely go do it! You'll have a good time, I promise.
