I love the Potluck Club ladies, and this has to be the best yet. When the women are forced (yes, forced!) into appearing on a reality TV show, things spin in directions they never saw coming. There are highs and lows, laughs and tears, and a few surprises along the way.
What I love most about the Potluck Club is the way each woman has her "say" in the situation. We get to see the story through each of their eyes, and I love that. It doesn't matter who you are, one of the Potluck women will strike a chord in you.

If you like reality television, church small groups and cooking-then you'll enjoy reading A Taste of Fame by Linda Evans Shepherd and Eva Marie Everson from the Potluck Catering Club series published by Revell. Reading this new book is similar to watching a reality show-with an added twist: inside the lives of the producers and the contestants.
A Taste of Fame by Linda Evans Shepherd and Eva Marie Everson is a well written novel about church women who are members of a Potluck Catering Club. In this book, they unintentionally find themselves smack in the middle of a reality television show about cooking. When you explore the book you discover characters rich with personality, personal struggle and conflict resolution. It's exciting to read from beginning to end.
This book is fun to read and I will continue to follow the Potluck Catering Club as I look forward to more books from these authors. Enjoy!

With the current popularity of "reality" game shows, this story was a lot fun! The Potluck Catering Club "accidentally" gets entered in a game show and gets to go to New York for the competition. It was interesting reading about the different themes they came up with for their entries, and what they had to go through to pull it off.
I enjoyed how each chapter was written from a different character's perspective, and it was especially fun to find all the recipes mentioned throughout the story listed in the back of the book.
