Item Description...
Book Description As we look at the claims of many religions and their leaders, does it make sense that one of them, Christianity, has the right to claim the truth? Or are all religions the same at the core?In this concise and helpful booklet, Douglas Groothuis examines the basic doctrines of great world religions, including Islam and nondualistic Hinduism, and compares them to Christianity. He concludes that all religions are not one. But he assures us that diverse people can find oneness at the foot of Christ's cross.

 | Great Resource May 26, 2004 |
I have read this booklet many times and it is an excellent resource tool to have availible when dealing with those who hold the view that all religions lead to the same place. The information outlines the diffrent belief systems that exist and clearly shows that they are in opposition to each other. Some belief systems do not believe in a personal God, the concept of heaven and eternal life is not the object of their faith. My desire is that Intervarsity Press print these again so we can pass them out. | | | | This is a booklet, almost like a thick tract Sep 15, 1998 |
| If you are looking for a solid, hardcore analyzation and polemic on the issue of plurality, this is not the text for you. This booklet is really small, not just in width but in all dimensions, but would definitely be good for evangelistic purposes, as a tract. If you are to order this, considering the warning, you should order multiples of it. | | | Write your own review about Are All Religions One?
