 | The Book of Revelation for Blockheads Apr 14, 2010 |
This is a great book for those who want a easy to understand commentary to the Bible's Book of Revelation. It has brought about insights to the Book of Revelation that I have read or studied at church and so forth, only this book helps to make it plainer and helps you in your visualization of the days to come. Very well done.

| This is a great book. I enjoyed it so much that I purchased one for my brother. Currently, my mother is reading my copy. The points are esay to follow and the humuor is a wonderful. | | | | Great Commentary! Aug 21, 2008 |
I bought this book as a resource for a teaching series I was about to do on the Book of Revelation.
I have found it to be very helpful for personal and ministry use. It is indeed indepth and user-friendly.
The author approaches the material from a dispensational, pre-tribulation, and futuristic appeal. But, he also gives thoughts on the other perspectives to give balance.
I like all the side bar information issues found in the text. You will enjoy this book if you purchase it. | | | | Breaks Revelation down line by line Jul 11, 2008 |
This book is absolutely incredible. It breaks the book of Revelation down line by line, so you understand it perfectly. It's very easy to read, and provides information on different viewpoints of the prophecies. It's really just amazing.
I was terrified to read the book of Revelation before I got this book, because it was so scary and confusing, and it all just seemed totally illogical and bizarre. But with this book, I was able to understand it so clearly, and I was stunned by the glory of God. | | | | Revelation for Blockheads a pleasant surprise Mar 16, 2008 |
| This is an excellent book. Though it is indeed user-friendly, it also happens to be packed with all kinds of historical and theological details. The book is presented as a light-hearted survey of one of the Bible's most mysterious and controversial books, but the writing and research is better than most "serious attempts" being forwarded in a genre more known for sensationalism than soundness of study. The author clearly has a point of view (Pre-millenial Dispensationalism), but quite surprisingly addresses other points of view with at least a modicum of respect. This is an exceedingly rare quality for prophecy pundits as they tend to write as if their position on the Book of Revelation is the only one that exists. You can mine a lot of great stuff out of this book even if you don't agree with everything the author has to say. I highly recommend this book for beginners and more serious students of prophecy. | | | Write your own review about The Book of Revelation for Blockheads: A User-Friendly Look at the Bible's Weirdest Book
