 | Wonderful continuation of a spectacular world Feb 12, 2010 |
| I am just going to write this quickly but the summary is that this is another book in this series that continues to build and define the world that Donita Paul has created. I'm pretty sure I read this in about 2 days and I really enjoyed it. I think this is great for young adults and older adults as well. What a great joy and not a bad message to boot. | | | | amazing May 30, 2009 |
| This book is completly wonderful. What more can I say if you have not picked up yet you are missing out. | | | | Recommended by an adult! Apr 25, 2009 |
| I would definitely recommend this series. My grandchildren enjoy this type of writing so I am always looking for books that all of us can enjoy. I will keep a an eye out for more of Donita Paul's work. | | | | Great books for teens and pre-teens Feb 17, 2009 |
| These books are part of a series that my kids have just loved. They are full of mythical and fantasy creatures and exciting story lines. My pre-teen and teenager both really enjoyed them. The youngest one has called them her favorites. However, the older teen said that the obvious Christian overtones became tiresome and preachy in the third book, and therefore she opted not to read the last one. | | | | A great series! 5.0 out of 5 stars A great series! (Info for parents), November 27, 2008
This whole series is great! It is an engaging and fresh coming of age story. I actually teach some jr. high girls that love the series. I am perfectly comfortable talking to them about it too, because the characters and general direction of the plot are extremely virtuous and honorable. (Here comes a spoiler!) In the 4th and 5th books for the series, the heroine is married; so there are a very few situations that arise which are unique to married couples. For example, at one point in time there is an instance where it is obvious that the heroine and her husband are planning to make love. But the book does not go into detail; basically skipping over it, but leaving you with a sense of wellbeing in their relationship. So, if you are a parent, you might want to time it so your child is mature by the time they get to the 4th and 5th books. Overall, it is an enthralling, encouraging, and morally instructive series. | | | Write your own review about DragonFire
