This decorator Angel is crafted of ceramic. Figure features gold detail. Gift boxed approximately 8" tall. "May angels gather 'round your door, and bring you peace forevermore."-written on the skirt of the Irish angel figurine.
This figurine has many details. On the shoulders you will find the Trinity Knot in gold - signifying the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The angel is holding a traditional celtic cross. Her waistband features a Claddagh. For those unfamiliar with the Claddagh symbol, the hands indicate friendship, the heart expresses love, and the crown conveys loyalty. There are several different versions of the Claddagh, but they all convey the same meaning. Over the centuries the Claddagh has become one of Irelands most beloved and enduring emblems - as popular today as it was when first created in the 16th Century!
Her flowing red hair is accented with clover leaves, another symbol of Ireland and also of the Trinity. Her skirt is embellished with the scene of a traditional Irish farmhouse complete with countryside and sheep. Finally the piece is trimed in Gold.
