 | New good Christian Fiction is hard to find... Oct 20, 2006 |
| ...but that's exactly what's offered in "Luke's Passage." Max Davis has a writing style that will immediately pull you into the lives of his characters. You become emotionally attached to the main character, Luke, from the first few pages. This book is an easy-read that will keep your interest from beginning to the end. The story is not sappy or patronizing - it has a solid plot line and is well written. The story and message transcend age and gender - a great book for anyone at any time of their life. | | | | Inspiring! Oct 20, 2006 |
| This is a great read - I couldn't put it down! Luke is a superstar athlete at his high school and then a freak accident changes his life forever. As Luke battles with an overwhelming sense of guilt, he runs from the life he knows and all his parent's expectations. Set in the 60's, the backdrop to Luke's Passage includes Vietnam and racial unrest back at home. This was an added bonus to understanding how people were thinking at that volatile time. This is a great book about forgiving ourselves & reaching toward our futures with faith & love. | | | Write your own review about Lukes Passage
