He gives us a five step process on how to think differently when we are in a situation in which we might provide guidance to another. Those five steps are to think beneath, think vision, think passion, think story and think movement. I found this book to be generally helpful but not new material for me. The standard methods of counseling, advising, pastoring, praying, etc are innefective in helping ourselves and others reach spiritual maturity and a right relationship with God. Soul talk, when correctly applied, will change all that. And a professional degree is not necessary. As with all things concerning God, the most effective tool is the Holy Spirit living within us.
