| We are just finishing this study as a group. It has been nine amazing weeks. Dee's teaching is outstanding on the video componant, not to be missed. The workbook is thought provoking and deep. It will require about 30 - 40 minutes daily five days a week to complete. For me as a study leader, this has summed up all my favorite scriptures and perfectly describes my experience with the living God. Wow, what a wonderful journey, one I was desiring to share with other women but didn't know quite how. This has been exactly what I was looking for. Kathy Trocoli and Dee Brestin wrote Falling in Love with Jesus. Falling in Love with Jesus is An interesting title . The idea that women are romantic is not new.
The way these two took Kathy's journal entries of Kathy wanting to find the right man in her life, and the song titles they used to introduce the idea of falling completely and totally in love with Jesus had me spellbound immediately.
Finding out that Kathy was true to her values when she refused to do a song that had questionable lyrics, walked away from a lucrative career and made her living singing at weddings, made me focus in on my own life and ask the question if I stand as firmly for my own values.

This is one of the MANY workbooks/studies that I purchased but simply did not, and will not complete.
I felt like I was being fed the story of THEIR lives. I mean, I wanted to do this study to learn! I wanted there to be some tips on how I could better strengthen my relationship with Christ,and something that would give me things that I could apply to my life everyday...that's important too me!
But this workbook feels like a gossip session in my opinion. Probably because each chapter starts with a few stories about something or they say view the video. and then you are feed questions.
For example: If I told you a story about a day in my home. Fed you a few scriptures-(which you would need the version of bible that this workbook is composed in to begin to get an understanding of where they are trying to progress you too) and then put a few side line quotes on the side of the page from St. Augestine or someone else. And got your focus on MY life. Then said.
1. Has there been a time in your life when you felt Christ rescued you from Depression? How did that make you feel?
then a few more questions
and then a question about why you felt Jane Doe (who's story was the opening of your study) felt the way she did?
-Is the way this workbook is written in my opinion.

In what words can I express how lovely this book has been put together. From excerpts such as "Once we have trusted Jesus with the wounds of our life, we have begun our move toward mature love. This is not perfect love, but a strong and steady love. Nor does this mean that life will now be easy. Instead, we will continue to have trouble. Jesus promised not that life would be easy but that He would be with us" WOW is all I could say to that!
It is with great artistry that the women write this book. Dee, a seasoned wife, grandparent, lover and servant. Kathy a young hearted spirit who has gone thru part of her youth searching for that True Love and waits patiently for the day that man of God will sweep her off her feet. In this book we learn to see Jesus with such longing and desire. A longing to be at his feet and be completely embraced by his love; a desire to commune with him daily and truly see him as our groom, our provider and savior.
In our Christian walk we seldom catch a glimpse of what it means to be loved by the creator of love. We get lost in our daily perils only to be left broken and in despair. This book places us back at the Lords feet and shows us how to see Jesus as our 1st love. Falling in love with Jesus seeks to redeem a lost generation of Christians with wonderful biblical insight on the story of love, how it is interpreted by different people and how we can receive it in our lives. This is an Absolutely Beautiful and Priceless Book. MUST READ!!!!!!
