| Dear Reader, Character Makeover is an excellent book, if you are looking for a study that helps you to look deep into yourself & what the Bible says about how to live as a Christian. I'm just a bit over half way through & I'm not sure I want it to end. | While visiting my Mom, I participated in her Sunday school class which was using Character Makeover as their curriculum. After a few lessons, I decided to read the book for myself. The book uses a five day a week study method to cover each character trait. The author suggests that the reader may follow the sequence front-to-back or that she may benefit from going "out of order" and choosing the character trait the she feels led to study. I opted for the latter. I am in week two, beginning with humility and moving on to contentment. I have had several moments where the study was personally applicable to something in my life. The content does contain scripted prayers, and although I am not usually one for "canned" prayers, I have gained new material to study when I read through them. There is also reference to a website which gives the reader added content and self-evaluation quizzes. I have used the website and enjoyed it.
