| If I had not grown up as a child with a completely demon possessed mother, I also would not believe that such a thing is possible. My mother made straight "A's" in college and has a brilliant mind. But, when my brother, and we 3 girls were alone with her, the demons would rise up and speak to us in voices. I was the oldest child and suffered the most at her hands, but I forgive and love her. When someone would come to visit, the demons would go down into hiding, and no-one knew what we kids were going through. I have attempted to throw these horrible things out of my mother, but they spoke directly to me and told me that I did not have enough power to do so, and then she ran from me. Several preachers were afraid of her when they saw them rise up in her eyes. That is the reason I bought this book. I will learn how to release my mother from these demon powers in the name of Jesus Christ, and see her a free and normal person before it is to late for her. If you have a loved one that is demon possessed, this is a good book to help you. Lester Sumral also has good books to teach on this subject. You must be a born agan Christian filled with God's Holy Sprit to cast demons out, or they can hurt you. Demons are not a myth, but very real. | First of all, you have to believe that the bible is true. Which it is. You have to be a Christian living for Jesus or you will feel it is all jibberish even though it is not. God is real! Satan is real! This book wakes you up about things that you may not have even realized before. As the author says it does not tell you how to fight Spiritual Warfare but it tells you very plainly where you can find it. I thank God for people like him that God has given the ability to research and study so that he can warn the Christians. Some of the places that he has been other Christians would not be able to go because they would be demon possessed! Yes demon possession is real everyone could very easily be awakened if they walked with a Holy Spirit Filled Christian down the isle of a Mental Institution. With out even be announced there will be some that will attack the Christian and they have not been told that the person is a Christian. Yes all of that is true and today more than any other time we really need to be aware where evil is and not wander in accidentally. Thank God for Bob Larson! Bob Larson is living the American dream. He has succeeded despite the odds. He has a squeaky voice and tends to stammer and whine when he gets excited, yet he was a big success for many years on Christian radio. He has no particular theological credentials, but is often called an "authority" on demonology by the secular media (who don't know any better.) He is a small, frail, pasty-looking man who appears to have a bad hair transplant, yet he has done well with the ladies (his marital status notwithstanding) and now has a hot, younger trophy wife. And he reportedly doesn't write the books that bear his name, yet he is making money hand over fist as a Christian author.
This book is complete and utter laughable nonsense that plays on the childish, superstitious fears of trailer-dwelling, mouth-breathing, Jesus T-Shirt-wearing single moms and their crackhead Christian heavy-metal-listening teen offspring, but I am giving it three stars because I admire Bob Larson's sheer audacity and the fact that he is friends with some cool satanists.
I highly recommend that you attend one of his demon-busting rallies. You will laugh, you will cry, you will see our nation sliding backwards into voodooism. The helmet-haired huckster with hell to sell is coming to a charismatic church or public school auditorium near you (in the evening hours of course, when the devil comes out). Don't miss it! In the meantime, get this book and read it when you are on the crapper... | While I have only read a few books in this field, this one is by far the most comprehensive I've come across. The author pulls no punches when it comes to exposing the activties of satan and his fallen minions. The message of this book takes on new meaning when you consider what Paul said about, "We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against powers, principalities and spiritual wickedness in high places...." Truly this thing we call "life" is merely a battleground for all the souls of mankind. With this in mind, this book is like an intelligence manual on how the darkside works. I do recommend it and while reading it, always remember, "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.". An excellent follow up to this book is, "Destined for the Throne" by Paul Billheimer (a book which clearly shows how Christians can have victory over the darkness through prayer and praise; and much more). | | | | Drawing Towards Armageddon May 24, 2005 |

This warning from Mr. Larson's dedicatory serves a greater purpose of introduction than that author may have intended.
Though there is no further reference in the book to the end times, (to the best of this writer's recollection), the author is nonetheless setting the stage for coming end time havoc as he unwinds this journal of demon activity and counter measures.
It would be fruitful to chronicle other experiences of contact with demons. Mr. Larson points out in several reports throughout this book, there are many dubious accounts and even some outright admissions of intentionally false claims that surface during examinations. Yet even the documenting of false appearances leads to clarifying understanding in this area.
But the greater portion of documented tales give rise to considering the awful torment in store for this world as it enters the seven last years before Jesus' return.
It is of course within those seven years that the Apostle John, in Revelation, prophesies of coming eschatological attacks by spirit beings upon the human race. These prophecies inspire the reader to wonder what possible insights Mr. Larson has already gained over the years vis-a-vis the demon-Revelation connection.
In the darkness of this world, Mr. Larson has lighted a path that bears careful study. His detailed instructions on casting out demons may be laughable to the uninitiated, but those with their own encounters are taking careful note of his reports.
There is no surprise that any involved in the dark side of this tale would hurriedly disclaim any credulity to Mr. Larson's work. His recognition that he has only begun the early stages of this journey, with all he has already suffered, reminds the reader that there certainly are more worlds than many have dreamed of, including Horatio.
He is encouraged to launch a second volume, with many in prayer for God's protection and guidance.
Comfort swells with Jesus' admonition, "Be not afraid."
