Reviews - What do our customers think?
 | Great booklet - really bad price Feb 14, 2008 |
| My church gives this booklet out all of the time and we like it very much. It provides a nice simple presentation of basics of the gospel. We've even been ordering and giving out copies in various languages to the students in our adult English language program. They love them. My only complaint is we really need it in Farsi (the language of Iran), but that's not available. The booklet gets 5 stars from me. I'm writing this review because of the price. That would get 0 stars if possible. This booklet can be ordered from various other Christian websites for no more then $3 per copy. If you buy in bulk, the price per booklet can be as low as $.90 per copy. Do an internet search before buying this book here. | | | | Excellent Evangelistic Tool Aug 19, 2006 |
| This booklet is a very concise, excellent presentation of the Gospel and questions that anyone should be asking themselves. It is presented in easy to understand questions and answers. I highly recommend it! | | | | Apologetics for Dumbies Aug 19, 2004 |
| I read this booklet given to me by a co-worker in hopes it would have some shred of logical, or reasonable evidence that god exists. However I was very disappointed that Blachard uses the same old arguements such as ID theory, the cosmological arguement, and the moral arguement to support his primary theory that god does exist. Such theories have been disproven logically countless times by many, many, many people. Also to suggest that no expert has ever disproved a single statement in the Bible is just plain wrong. This type of apologetic slop may convice those who don't really want to think about the issues, or Christians who are biased and already believe in God and are just reading for confirmation of their faith. For convincing anyone else I think the text is nothing but useless drivel. I agree though the pictures are nice. | | | | An evangelistic tool - good to a certain extent. Aug 31, 2000 |
| The booklet, Ultimate Questions, by John Blanchard asks some serious questions about God, man, Jesus Christ, Repentance and faith and living a new life in Christ. It is primarily used as an evangelistic tool to bring the unbeliever to a knowledge of God and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Scripture is quoted extensively to corroborate what Blanchard says and it is always italicized. The big disappointment comes when the scripture references are all lumped together in the back of the book instead of where they are quoted. As a consequence, only a student of the bible would have some idea of what the reference might be. Oftentimes two or three references have to be looked up before the correct one is found that corresponds to the one quoted. For the most part the individuals being evangelized wouldn't have a clue. And they are the primary users of this booklet. In this instance, I think Blanchard lost sight of his audience. In his defense, the references are at least broken down by what page in the booklet they appear on. Writers should avoid taking shortcuts that save them a little time, effort and book size one time up front, but cause countless others to have to contend with those shortcuts time and again. | | | | An excellent evangelism tool Apr 6, 1999 |
| Well written and includes captivating photographs. This evangelism tool is a "keeper" due to the color photography and methodical explanation of salvation. Also available in 33 languages from english to Zulu. | | | Write your own review about Ultimate Questions (NIV)
