Publishers Description Just one person can save the children from a terrifying future. But to do so, she must master her past.Beth Wright, a newspaper reporter, is hot on the trail of a story that could expose something very ugly at the St. Clair Children's Home. Someone else is hot on Beth Wright's trail---someone who wants to make sure her story never sees the press.Between them stands Nick Hutchins, a social worker who finds his own gut hunches about the children's home increasingly confirmed, first by Beth's investigation . . . then by a high-speed attempt on her life . . . and finally, by an intruder's startling confession. As the drama unfolds, a horrifying picture emerges of helpless children under the sway of a modern-day Fagin. Just one person holds the key that can save them: Beth herself. But using that key could cost Beth her reputation . . . if it doesn't first cost her life.Presumption of Guilt is a gripping portrayal of the depths of human evil, the soul-twisting influence of lies . . . and of the liberating power of truth and the far-reaching freedom of God's mercy and grace.Presumption of Guilt is book four in the Sun Coast Chronicles by award-winning author Terri Blackstock. From absorbing legal drama to lightning-paced action, the Sun Coast Chronicles offers suspense at its finest, tempered with remarkable realism and penetrating insights into the human heart. |

Reviews - What do our customers think?
 | Too depressing of a series! Jan 30, 2006 |
| I don't mind crying at a series - in fact most of the time that means I'm really enjoying it, but oh, my goodness...will the depression never end! This entire series is so depressing...it just kept getting more depressing! Don't read this without a "happy" book to make you feel better afterwards. Defintely not her best series. | | | | Perfect ending to the series! Sep 10, 2005 |
| Presumption of Guilt was a perfect ending to this series by Terri Blackstock. It really showed the damage we humans do to each other and also the redeeming power of God's love. I couldn't put it down! You will love this book as I'm sure you loved the ones before it. It neatly ties all the story lines together and gives you and ending worth waiting for. Enjoy! | | | | If you haven't read a Terri Blackstock novel... Aug 3, 2005 |
If you haven't yet read any of the consistently-superb novels by Terri Blackstock... try this one or any other of her books, and you'll likely want to read them all! Her suspenseful plots aren't surpassed by anyone I'm familiar with...not even Mary Higgins Clark, great as she is! --Ron Howe (a.k.a., Toby Martin, II) | | | | I loved this book! Mar 23, 2002 |
| This is the 6th book of Terri Blackstock I've read, and I love them all. The novels are very honest, Terri is not afraid to raise difficult questions and to show Christians struggling spiritually. Her characters do not know all the answers, they learn on the way as the story goes. Absolutely great books. | | | | EXCELLENT!!! Oct 21, 2001 |
| The whole Sun Coast Chronicles series is great, but I think that Presumption of Guilt is the best one! Terri Blackstock, along with the Left Behind series, has proved that you can have an excellent book without all of the bad language and sex that plagues most secular novels. Besides the fact that Terri Blackstock's novels are excellent, it is comforting to know that you don't have to worry about running into any objectionable material in her books. | | | Write your own review about Presumption Of Guilt (Sun Coast V4)
