| This book is a very practical, down to earth, yet challenging call to become an intercessor, and to practice fasting in different forms. I 'discovered' this book after hearing an address by Dana Candler, the coauthor at a church conference. This book, which is, as I said, a primer or handbook on the fasted lifestyle, or the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle, represents well the new prayer movement which seems to sweeping the globe through the 24/7 group and groups like the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. Full of insights, honesty and grit.
