Item Description...
Product Description Isn't it true that we long to see the extraordinary, experience the extraordinary, do the extraordinary? Yet, so often we settle for mediocrity when greatness is within our grasp.
Why are we drawn to stories of heroic triumph over seemingly impossible circumstances? In our fascination with adventure movies, superheroes, and tales of incredible human feats, do we reveal an inherent desire for something larger and greater in life? Maybe what we think is a need to escape or be entertained is actually a God inspired longing...for the extraordinary.
Best-selling author John Bevere reveals how all of us were "meant for more," extraordinarily created and intended for a life that is anything but ordinary. Here is the roadmap for your journey of transformation. You are marked for a life that far surpasses the usual definitions of success or fulfillment.
Isn't it time to pursue your extraordinary life?

 | Live the life you were meant to live May 23, 2010 |
I've gone through bible studies using John Bevere books before, so I was really excited when his newest, "Extraordinary: The Life You're Meant to Live", came in the mail. We all look up to someone, and whoever that someone is to us they are great because of something they have done, because of who we are. There is an inner longing in us to be extraordinary too, to be someone that others look to for inspiration. This book is about that need God has placed in our hearts to be extraordinary. Bevere biblically points out that God not only put that there but he made us to be extraordinary! He doesn't put a desire in us without giving us the capabilities to be it. I don't know of anyone who does not need to read this book. It will definitely change your life for the better, I know it has mine. How much more joy will you have when you live the life God gave you to live? We miss those teachings of HOW, we learn what God gives us but not how to use us. With biblical examples Bevere shows us the how. So now go out and be "Extraordinary". | | | | Good Read Mar 22, 2010 |
| People measure success differently so this book will be meaningful to people in different ways. Bevere is quick to point out that God has a plan for all of us, from the greatest to the least of us and we need to be on a quest to find out what that plan is and do our best to follow it. He uses the Scriptures boldly in his teaching and challenges us to live life as God intended. | | | | Extraordinary: The Life You're Meant to Live Mar 19, 2010 |
| Life changing book!!! John Bevere has a way of getting you to open your Bibles and to really study this topic. His use of different translations of the Bible makes passages more clear and takes away the haze that has been clouding our reading. I'm convinced that the Lord wants us to live extraordinarily and He provides us with all that it takes to do so!!! I'm thankful that this book and study was chosen for a recent Sunday School class in our church!!! | | | | Extra! Extra! Mar 11, 2010 |
| In this latest by John Bevere we are challenged to life life the way God intended us to. I like this book because it takes everyday circumstances and shows us the little things in them that God wants us to learn. This book encourages the reader to reach for more, not to just sit back and let life pass you by. | | | | A pick for new age and spirituality collections alike Jan 18, 2010 |
