If you want to grow in depth of relationship with God, this is the book to read and apply. If you want a spiritual life free from challenges and painful lessons, don't read this book.
I am profoundly changed by applying the truths related in this little unassuming book. I am also now suspect of all little unassuming books! Only a quarter of an inch or so thick, I thought it would be a breeze. Not so! My spirit cried 'oh me!' more times than not. As difficult as it was to apply the deep spiritual truths contained with its pages, I am the richer for it.
I do caution that if you are not serious about spiritual growth, don't apply the principles. If you are searching, seeking, longing for a deeper relationship with God, this is a great starting place.
