| This book has bridged the gap between the standard hymns of yesterday to the contemporary song styles of today. It is a compillation of old and new Gospel music that reaches all age categories. I was thrilled to see songs of then and now that I love so much within its pages. Songs like God is here, In The Sanctuary, Glorious, Oh the Glory of His Presence, The Presence of the Lord is Here, Center of My Joy, I Love The Lord, God Is, Here I Am To Worship, What A Mighty God We Serve, Bless That Wonderful Name Of Jesus and the list goes on and on. It not only shows the growth of the Christian African-American Praise and Worship experience from slave time to now, but the influence other cultures had on that growth as well.
